Bisque socket head incised with Heubach square mark and 8649 mold number. Rare white quilted bonnet with red decoration, holes in bonnet for tying ribbon, molded hair peaking out from top and sides of bonnet, tapered eyebrows, intaglio dark eyes with white dot highlight, red corner eye dots, brown eyelash line, molded upper eyelids, smiling open/closed mouth with tongue and two upper teeth. Jointed composition and wood body (some wear at joints). Original factory white cotton dress, undies, shoes and socks. Very rare doll, seldom comes up for sale. So charming!
