Elegant bisque shoulder head incised “1 Depose B” with portrait face by Barrois, based on the popular Empress Eugénie, wife of Napoleon III, with long feathered light eyebrows, cobalt blue glass eyes, black eyeliner, delicate painted upper and lower eyelashes, closed mouth with upturned lips and lip shading strokes, long neck with molded detail around collar bone, cork pate, replaced mohair wig. Excellent white kid body with ¾ bisque arms. Beautifully attired in white pique morning dress, underwear, shoes and stockings with lorgnette and fan. An exquisite lady.
