German bisque socket head incised “4” with decoration and coloring similar to the Kestner “Wrestler.” Feathered eyebrows, mauve eye shadow, blue stationary eyes, delicate upper and lower eyelashes, open mouth with six upper teeth, pierced ears, very high crown cut, replaced mohair wig. Early wood and composition jointed body (some repaint). Dress appears factory original, vintage underwear and stockings, antique shoes, replaced bonnet. What a spectacular doll! Very rare model.
