Wax portrait face of young boy with inset blonde hair with side part, painted eyebrows, tiny blue glass eyes, closed mouth (slightly flattened nose), cloth body with stamp from Hamley’s Regent Street London, wax lower arms and legs. Original cream and aqua silk sailor suit (much deterioration) with straw hat. A Prince David (later Edward VIII) made by Pierotti is shown in Antique Doll Collector July 2007 in an article by Lynda Christian. This doll is possibly another of Queen Victoria’s grandchildren, Maybe “Bertie” who became George VI.

Condition: Doll (Excellent) Costume (Poor).
