Lovely bisque head lady doll with unusual articulated neck joint, patented by Rohmer 1858 that features a metal button at the front crown to attach the head to the plate. Dark blue paperweight eyes, black eyeliner, delicately painted upper and lower eyelashes, feathered arched eyebrows, closed mouth with downturned lip shading line, replaced skin wig, cork pate. Original kid body (some overall soil) with bisque shoulder plate, bisque ¾ arms with separate thumb, Colorful provincial costume with layers of underwear, shoes and stockings, headdress and tambourine. Stunning, rare doll!
