Made for Bailey, Banks & Biddle Co., Philadelphia. Eight day time and strike. Large well-made and unusual movement plays Whittington & Westminster chimes on a combination of nested bells and deep-throat coiled gongs. Silent lever. Movement maker is likely Swiss and dates circa 1880 to 1920. Silver dial with brilliant gold plate numerals. Slight crack in edge of original beveled glass and some portions of wooden side filigree missing but these flaws do not detract from the overall excellent high quality of this rare collector's item.

Condition: (Excellent).
