German bisque socket head incised “1428” by Simon & Halbig. Character face with beautifully detailed modeling, around eyes and mouth, blue sleeping eyes, tiny painted upper eyelashes, no bottom lashes, slanted one-stroke eyebrows, open/closed mouth with lip shading strokes, button nose, double chin. Original five-piece chubby toddler body. Knitted pink romper suit. A delightful character baby!
