Vintage “Polly Heckewelder” Doll. Made by the Ladies Sewing Society of the Central Moravian Church of Bethlehem, PA, beginning in 1872 and still being made. Hand-painted face and hair, all original clothing with crocheted cap, pink checked cotton dress, dimity pinafore, cotton shift, slip and panties, white stockings, black shiny shoes. Along with an unidentified early cloth doll with sewn-on hand-painted face framed with painted hair (features very faded) with blue checked dress, crocheted bonnet and an additional hand-painted face.
Condition: (Poor - Excellent).
