Swimming fish figure with great detail. Some surface damage. This marble was crafted in 1878 and comes with a certificate (Certification of Historic Artifact) stating that this marble was recovered in July, 1988 by the Scuba South Diving Company from the shipwreck of the steamship "City of Houston". City of Houston was on a voyage from New York to Galveston when it sank off Frying Pan Shoals, NC on October 23, 1878 in 90 feet of water. Paul purchased the marble from Lloyd Huffer.
