Made by Julia Beecher of Elmira, NY, Ca. 1900. Black stockinette with needle sculpted face (holes in cheek and nose), painted eyes and mouth, looped wool hair (mostly gone), stitched ears; chubby body (quite a lot of wear on hands); wearing an antique red cotton dress. Also with additional antique clothing: white cotton dress, eyelet pinafore and two pairs of drawers, red stockings and a pair of black and red leather shoes and 3 Blue Ribbons from a County Fair. Seldom do black examples of this doll appear.

Condition: (Very Good).
