Japanese. Working. This is a remote control toy and the battery box is clean. Marked "Grumman F9F-8" on tail fin. Original plastic cockpit. Includes original box with nice color depiction of airplane on top lid and a picture of the airplane taking off from an aircraft carrier on the sides. Pictured in "Collecting Vintage Aircraft Toys" by Geoffrey Randolph 'GR' Webster on page 68.
