Carved wood male figure with dark carved hair that has a plaster coating in some spots which is partially worn off, serene face with prominent nose, carved eye sockets with inset eyes; garment is painted on the upper torso, but skirt seems to be applied papier-mâché, boots are painted on, and figure is permanently attached to wooden stand. (One arm is detached and can be glued, finger is off, chipping to plaster on hair, nose worn, some paint wear overall and particularly on boots.) Carved wood Christ Child with carved hair, lovely face with carved eye sockets and inset eyes; head and body are one wood piece, arms and legs are attached, lower limbs are painted. (Crack across front shoulders and around face and chin, 7 fingers damaged, one toe off, minor wear on hair).
