German bisque socket head incised “made in Germany 16 ½ 171” with blue sleeping eyes, painted upper and lower eyelashes, molded multi-stroked eyebrows, open mouth with teeth, plaster dome, replaced mohair wig; jointed composition and wood body (soiled hands, stringing loose); original chemise, antique undies, white pique coat and shoes with fur trim (clothing needs laundering), real fur collar with tails. Nice chunky large doll!
CORRECTION – Her left ear has a crack behind it and has been professionally repaired. Her eyes are reset and reinforced. She needs to be restrung because her arms are out of their sockets. Her ring finger on her left hand is replaced. The thumb and pointer finger are both replaced on her right hand.
Condition: (Very Good).
