Copyright 1888 Goodwin & Co. N.Y. Photograph appears to be a proof for a baseball card but is not marked so on the back. Boyd was a first baseman that also played for the Indianapolis Hoosiers in the Union Association. Also played in the Major Leagues' National League. The Maroons were only a team for one year and then moved to Indianapolis for three years, folding again. Some minor staining and wear overall.
