Overall length: 62". Octagon to round 47" barrel, flintlock, curly maple stock. Signed "A.K.". Maker: Andrew Klimedinst. York School. Circa 1815 to 1830. Classic York County "buck and ball" fowler (multi-purpose gun) with old mellow honey-colored surface with long (approx. 16") sliver on upper left forestock and short (approx. 2") sliver on upper right forestock with "basket weave" carving on the wrist. Still in its original flintlock configuration.
