Overall length: 54 - 1/2". Octagonal 39" barrel, percussion, four-piece patchbox on curly maple stock. Unsigned. Western Pennsylvania School. Circa 1830 to 1840. One brass inlay and 11 silver inlays. Typical Western Pennsylvania patchbox and oval cheek-piece inlay with pierced sideplate. Curly maple stock is refinished and wrist is broken and repaired.
