Overall length: 49". Barrel length: 32 - 1/2". Type of barrel: Octagonal. Lock mechanism: Flintlock. Patchbox: 4-piece. Stock: Curly maple. Western Pennsylvania School. Circa 1820 to 1840. This is another example of a buttstock being made into a "complete" rifle with an added original-flintlock, barrel and a new forestock being added to the buttstock.
