.75 caliber. These muskets were made during the time of the American Revolution or up to the 1790s before they were out of fashion. This musket is still in original flintlock although all metal parts have been heavily buffed and the stock has been heavily cleaned. There are wood replacements around and under the lock as well as the high front comb, being patched (replaced). The ramrod and the sling swivels are modern replacements and the ramrod ferrules may also be modern replacements.
