Carved wood head woman with lovely detail and comb marks in her hair, gesso-covered face (a few chips as usual on these early dolls) raised to look up, carved upper eyelids, inset glass eyes, open mouth with teeth, jutting chin, flared nostrils; hemp-wrapped armature body with carved lower arms and legs with black carved shoes. Appropriately redressed in vintage fabrics. Impressive and incredible modeling! Rarely found in this large size.
