Philadelphia, ca. 1900, clockwork mechanical gilt framed box. Lithographed paper interior features cobblers workshop with two male figures and woman behind the door. When wound the two male figures work on shoes, the younger figure kicks the cobblers bench, and the woman appears from behind the door brandishing a shoe.

Condition: 14" H, 18" W, 5" D.
