Rawlings gray flannel jersey attributed to Don Newcombe, size 44, with Dodgers sewn in blue on front and “20” sewn in blue on back. Jersey appears to be well-used and has some soiling and small pin holes.
ADDITIONAL INFO: The Dodgers always had their major league players' names stitched on the back of the jersey, with the exception of 1947. Since there is no remnants of a name having been taken off, we must lean towards the jersey having been used in the minor leagues only, though possibly by a player who went on to the majors.
