Overall length: 48”. Barrel length: 31”. Marked “E. Anschutz Phila” on full octagon .45 caliber rifled barrel and on percussion lock. Large peep sight mounted on top of checkered wrist. Double set triggers and no cap box. Edward Anschutz, circa 1865-1885, is noted for his exceptional quality target rifles and shotguns. Original stock finish, untouched. All smooth metal surfaces. All brass has nicely oxidized surfaces. Very good condition.
