Rare historical shipping document from 1794 signed on front and back by George Washington and Thomas Jefferson. Washington has signed his name "Go. Washington" and Jefferson has signed his name "T. Jefferson". Includes a report from the Historical Society of preservation and identification. The document has been encapsulated between sheets of clear polyester film and the edges are sealed with an ultrasonic welder. The encapsulation with facilitate handling and mitigate against environmental fluctuations. Comes with an LOA from James Spence Authentication.
