Lot consists of: (A) A seldom seen piece is this Argentinian FM1 offensive grenade, from about the 1960’s. It utilizes a fuze very similar in design (copied?) to the UK Mills. In fine condition, the sheet metal body is undented with the paint showing moderate handling wear. (B) This is the Danish Model 1923 Practice, known as the Øvelseshaandbombe M/23 (Drill hand bomb M/23). It could be used for drill with a dummy cartridge in the fuze, or with a low explosive practice cartridge. The practice grenade can be reused multiple times, and was typically marked with a peen mark on the side each time it was reloaded, as this one is marked. This is a very nice example, in excellent condition. (C) Initially manufactured in the early 1900s, the Swiss HG 17 remained in use into World War II. This example has the central red band indicating that it was not filled (blinde). It is in excellent condition with no corrosion or missing components. The circumference of the top is marked with a Swiss cross and a 6M.
