A nice grouping of ultra clean Lenci dolls from the 1920-1930`s era. The first is a 12” Dutch Girl, circa 1930’s, all felt with pressed felt swivel head, painted features, third and fourth fingers sewn together, double felt sewn on ears, original wig, costume and wooden shoes. Original square hang tag on the back of the skirt. The second is a 9” Jackie Coogan Smoker, felt swivel head on five piece jointed body, painted side glancing blue eyes, surprised expression with closed mouth with cigarette in the corner, light brown wig, all original outfit. The third is a 10” Girl in Regional Costume, felt swivel head, painted features, felt arms with stitched fingers, cloth body and legs, felt hair, original costume. Original hang tag on the right hand. Some yellowing and staining to fabric, few small holes on the costume. The fourth is a 9” Mascot Highlander Boy, swivel head on a five piece jointed body, painted side glancing blue eyes, surprised expression with “O” shaped mouth, blonde mohair wig, all original costume. Has all original cloth and paper tags. The last is a 9” Highland Laddie #200/E, circa 1921, felt swivel head and arms with stitched fingers, painted features, cloth body, original hair and costume. Marked with original cardboard tag hanging under kilt. All are in excellent condition unless otherwise noted.
