After the conclusion of WWII, the U.S. knew it needed to replace its M1 Bazooka. The M1, while sufficient at the time, was cumbersome, and was easily damaged. By researching captured Panzerfaust launchers, the U.S. took both the best of both launchers and designed the M72 LAW (Light Anti-tank Weapon). This board features three of said launchers and includes a 66mm dummy round, a LAW operation manual, and two laminated data sheets going over the specifications of the launcher and rocket. Launchers and rocket are mounted on a piece of thin particle board, surrounded by a wood frame. The center and bottom LAWs retain their canvas sling. CONDITION: All three LAWS show cosmetic handling marks, with wear to the data stickers. Board shows no cracks or splits. Wood border shows minor wear. MW
