This is an unsigned, life size, carved marble sculpture from the 20th Century that depicts a half-nude woman with a bouquet of flowers. She stands 5'2" tall on a naturalized plinth with a supporting limbless tree stump, on a circular socle. She is half-draped, standing contrappasto, and comfortably holding the ornately carved bouquet in a tapered basket. There is a 1/2" divot out of her left elbow and the remarkably delicate flower petals are almost completely intact.
