DSP. An incredible and most likely the finest known example of this bright and beautiful Circa 1930's Porcelain Service Station Sign advertising Vico Motor Oil & Pep 88 Gasoline, both products of Utah Oil Refining Company, Salt Lake City, Utah. Sign features deep red white and blue colors as well as unique script throughout each side. CONDITION: Side one shows outstanding color and gloss throughout the field showing no chipping in the field with outstanding condition script throughout. Side one shows only a very light amount of minor surface scratch most likely from storage as well as one light chip at the top center outer edge. The outer edge shows minor areas of paint remnants but is in overall outstanding condition throughout, Grade 9.25+. Side two is also in absolutely incredible condition showing outstanding color and gloss throughout the field with clean and unique script. Side two shows only a faint amount of minor surface wear in the field as well as one minor chip at the top center outer edge. The outer edge of side two is also extremely clean showing just a minor amount of paint remnants and very minimal wear, Grade 9.25+. An absolutely incredible example of this rare and seldom seen Sign from Utah Oil Refining that would be near impossible to upgrade.
