DSP. Sign is Maker Marked Walker & Co, Detroit. An incredibly clean example of this beautiful and iconic Porcelain Sign from Oldsmobile Automobiles advertising "Oldsmobile Service". Sign shows a brilliant and bright Globe graphic on each side as well as bold Oldsmobile Service script. CONDITION: Side one shows incredible color and gloss throughout the field showing an excellent detailed graphic with only very minimal wear. Side one shows one very light BB type chip above the "E" of Oldsmobile as well as some very minimal chipping at the four mounting holes along the outer edge. Overall side one displays incredibly well, Grade 9.0. Side two is also in outstanding condition throughout showing a beautiful graphic as well as clean lettering. Side two shows one minor BB chip at the left edge of the graphic as well as some very minimal surface scratches but overall outstanding. Side two shows light chipping at the top two mounting holes and the outer edge is overall very clean, Grade 9.0. A beautiful and bright example of this icon of Automotive Advertising.
