A Western Plains pipe tomahawk with forged tight scrolls, heart cut-out, incised designs on both sides of the 10 1/2" (including bowl) blade. The 25" long haft shows etched lines the full length. Native tanned hide wrap with beaded strip and wrist thong, a beaded and quilled drop done in geometric designs with fringe and brass bell dangle. An interesting and very good-looking example of this desirable type of weapon.
