A bronze pancake lock. "P. R. R. MARKET CAR" is nicely embossed in fancy font on lightly pebbled background on the face of the lock. Lock shows little evidence of RR use and has a nice, age-earned patina. This lock is well known to lock and railroad collectors as the only known production example along with the prototype also available in this auction. A push key is included with this lot.
Condition: (Excellent).
