SSP. Sign is Maker Marked Veribrite Signs - Chicago. A brilliant example of this rare Circa 1930's Overland Route Porcelain Shield Sign from Union Pacific Railways. Sign features outstanding red, white & blue porcelain as well as unique Shield shape. CONDITION: Sign is in outstanding condition throughout showing an incredibly clean field with no chipping and only a minimal amount of light surface wear. Sign shows an outstanding condition outer field as well and retains all four of its original grommets. Sign shows one minor surface nick at the upper right corner as well as one light surface nick at the lower right at the Maker Mark. A tough to upgrade example of this very scarce Porcelain Sign from Union Pacific.
