A very nice example of a World War II US Marine Corps Unertl scope case which would have housed one of the approximately 2,800 scopes developed and manufactured in 1940-1941 under contract for the U.S. Marine Corps. The case is constructed of micarta that features its original green painted finish. Original hardware is present including the spring retention system, cone cap, original canvas belt loop, and strap. The case is not numbered. Very clean overall with scattered blemishes throughout its length from handling and storage. CONDITION: Very good.
