DSP. Sign is Maker Marked Ingram Richardson. Incredibly clean and finest known example of this very rare C. 1930's Porcelain Service Station Sign from Oilzum Motor Oils & Lubricants showing unique script style as well as "Oswald The Driver" graphic. A product of The White & Bagley Company, Worcester, Massachusetts. Sign also features its original Cast "White & Bagley Co." Base. CONDITION: Sign is overall absolutely brilliant showing phenomenal color & gloss throughout the fields of each side with no notable wear. Side one shows a few very minimal surface scratches as well as some very faint factory flaws at the left and is overall brilliant with excellent shelving between each color. The outer edge shows no notable wear, Grade 9.75+. Side two is also in phenomenal condition showing outstanding color & gloss throughout the field with no damages. Side two shows some faint spider webbing in the Porcelain in the white outer field, none of which is overly distracting. Side two shows one very small nick at the upper right edge and the remaining outer edge is brilliant and outstanding, Grade 9.5+. Sign is mounted in its original Ring & Pole which has been professionally repainted in black and shows hand painted cast lettering at the base. An incredibly rare piece of outstanding advertising from Oilzum Motor Oils, the finest example of this Sign known with absolutely tremendous display power.
