SSP. A nice example of this large and impressive single sided porcelain thermometer from Red Crown Gasoline featuring the iconic red crown graphic with nice color and shine throughout. CONDITION: The field of this sign remains exceptionally clean with excellent color and gloss. There is a few surface scratches, the worst of which is a diagonal surface scratch that extends through the "R" in "Red." There are a few small porcelain chips in the bottom field that are minor, but have been lightly touched up with a white paint. The outer edges and mounting holes of this thermometer show some isolated porcelain chipping and wear, the worst of which is at the top and bottom center mounting holes and one half dollar size chip on the center right edge. The thermometer comes in a nice custom wood frame and is ready to hang. An exceptionally clean example that would be tough to ever upgrade.
