Late 19th century copy of a Rev War style "galloper" gun. These were commonly seen at GAR halls and veteran organizations across the country. They were used to signal the start of events and to commemorate holidays and battle anniversaries. Iron tube is painted black and carriage is red. Nice display size for a patio or inside your gun display room. CONDITION: Excellent. Touch hole and bore are free of debris and/or obstructions. Length of tube: 34", 36-1/2" including the cascabel. Height of wheels: 32-1/2". Diameter of bore: 1-1/2". BM
