The Russian PM M1910 entered service during the Great War and while only produced until 1945, saw usage in as late as the Vietnam War by North Vietnamese forces. This example is very unique, in that it has been modified with what appears to be gas and electrical hook-ups, which when properly set up with the accompanying modified ammo can, will simulate the gun firing. Top cover is marked "1944r". Features include a fluted water jacket, which has been painted green, as well as spade grips. This example is complete with a Finnish "SA" marked wheeled Sokolov mount, shield, and cover. Sokolov mount is missing it's front pin to retain the gun and shield. CONDITION: Receiver retains the majority of it's applied finished, exhibiting a few areas of wear. Painted components on gun show areas of wear, as well as flaking. Sokolov mount and shield exhibit some wear and scattered areas of flaking. A very unique and attractive example of a Russian PM M1910 Maxim machine gun, which would make for an absolutely fantastic reenactment piece! -MLW-
