Wonderful and hard to find figure, representing a 1930's boy and is identical to the Lenci 300 series children produced as dolls in the same era. On the base is the signature "Lenci Made in Italy Torino-10-XIP". Although better known to collectors of Art Deco than collectors of dolls, these figures are very difficult to find and are ceramic figures with glazed over decoration. They tend to not survive well because of their fragility but also because the glaze can crackle if exposed to heat, whereas the condition of this piece is excellent. Near perfect condition with the minor exception of a tiny surface chip on the back of the lower part of the black base on the lower level, not visible when displayed.
