DSP. An excellent example of this iconic Circa 1930's Porcelain Service Station Sign from Signal Gasoline showing the early black Stoplight graphic. Sign shows Signal yellow, black and red porcelain throughout each side and is in excellent condition. CONDITION: Side one shows outstanding color and gloss throughout the field showing a clean Stoplight as well as excellent condition script. Side one shows a very clean inner field with only a few minor areas of light surface scratch and the outer field shows light areas of stress chipping above the "I" of Signal as well as minor chipping at the outer edge mounting holes. Overall side one displays extremely well with only minimal wear, Grade 8.75+. Side two is also in excellent condition as well showing an excellent condition Stoplight graphic with clean Signal script. Side two shows three areas of very light chipping in the outer field as well as some light areas of wear and chipping along the outer edge and at the mounting holes. Side two shows clean script with bright and glossy colors and overall displays excellent, Grade 8.5+. An outstanding displaying example of this early and highly sought after Porcelain Service Station Sign from Signal Gasoline.
