DSP. Maker mark "Reg US Pat. Off." C. 1920s Sinclair Aircraft sign with outstanding graphic. CONDITION: Side one, has significant damage to the porcelain throughout. The sign has areas of complete porcelain failure throughout the word "Aircraft", as well as areas of staining and deep scratches throughout. Sign also has multiple porcelain chips throughout the field and along the outer edges of the sign. (6.0). Side two has much better color and gloss throughout, but does have minor fade to the red. The sign also has significant staining in the white areas, as well as crazing and chips to the porcelain both on the inner and outer fields. The outer edges of the sign shows significant porcelain loss, as well as staining. (7.9). Overall, an absolutely tremendous and highly desirable piece, perfect for any collection.
