AGS CERTIFIED #11238. SST. A well displaying example of this seldom seen single sided tin sign from Standard Oil featuring Chevron Island with a palm tree graphic. CONDITION: The field of this sign shows good gloss and color with only light surface scratching and a few isolated areas of paint loss. The outer edges, specifically along the bottom side, show heavy paint loss and oxidation with areas of paint lifting. There are five non-factory mounting holes along the upper half of the sign as well. The subject matter and graphics are eye-catching on this piece (SCORE 76).
