A smaller bronze diamond plate, "Lima Locomotive Works, Inc." Construction No. 5428, March 1917. Plate has gloss black field paint with polished letters and borders. Back of plate is flat black paint. Plate was removed from nickel plate Mikado 2-8-2 No. 500, this is the first Mikado style for NKP. Rare for small diamond on rod engines.
