Sydney Mortimer Laurence "Mt. McKinley" original oil on canvas painting of mountain landscape. Gorgeous neutral colors and subject matter, elegant brushstrokes and sunset light over the mountain peak. Signed in lower-right corner by artist. This masterpiece comes with a little provenance information on the verso, and is also titled by the artist in ink. Image sight 15 - 3/4" wide x 19 - 1/2" high. This painting is nicely housed in gilded distressed style wood frame. Frame 21" wide x 24 - 1/2" high x 2" diameter. This painting is in very good to excellent condition, commensurate with age, canvas has no repairs, touch-ups, or any other damages. Frame shows signs of gilt loss, although this doesn't distract from the piece, but rather adds character and displays very beautifully.
