Printed in the 1870s for the Union Metallic Cartridge Co. of Bridgeport, Connecticut. Front has depictions of the wide variety of centerfire, rimfire, and pinfire ammunition available from UMC ranging from .22 to 1" Gatling. Reverse side lists and describes the cartridges available with excerpts of various government reports on the ammunition. Bottom has several engravings of shooters as well as the early UMC dog head monogram. It measures approximately 11 - 1/2" by 18 - 1/4". CONDITION: Fair to good. Advertisement was folded across the center both ways. The latitudinal fold has separated with losses at the edges and center point. Some chipping also present at the end of the longitudinal fold and at the corners. Paper has a pleasant aged cream appearance with a few light areas of spotting.
