An exceptional example of World War II US Army Herringbone Twill double sided frogskin camouflage one piece combat coveralls. This set of coveralls still retains its original internal suspenders, which were usually cut out by soldiers. There is a partial laundry number stamped inside below the collar area that reads "6092". The coveralls also have all of the original 13-star buttons at the cuffs. The suit has four large billowed snap enclosure pockets, two on the front and two on the side at the waist. CONDITION: All of the snap enclosures are in working condition with the exception of the two snaps on the lower left side pocket which are hard to snap closed. There do not appear to be any tears or rips on the coveralls, and there is no evidence of field repairs. Coveralls have the original Conmar zipper that is in good working condition. Surprisingly, the camouflage pattern does not exhibit much fading, especially on the upper half, which is still quite vibrant. The lower half shows more fading than the top. The coveralls do display some staining and tarnishing from field use but it does not take away from the overall appearance of the piece. This is a very nice and hard to find example of World War II US Army Coveralls. Overall excellent condition. JD
