Blue octagonal rifled barrel marked on top flat “ADAMS’S PATENT SMALL ARMS Co. 391, STRAND, LONDON.” Stamped with British view and proof marks on left flat near breech, ejector rod on right side. Double action frame marked with proofs on left side, near grip and “ADAMS’S PATENT No. 1382” on right side below cylinder, along with “AJ” trademark. Six-shot cylinder stamped at rear of each chamber with British proofs, cylinder also stamped with serial “No. 1382.” One-piece checkered walnut grip with steel buttcap and lanyard ring. Good condition. Retains 30% blue overall, mainly on the barrel with some traces on frame in protected areas, markings show some wear. Cylinder needs adjustment. Grip very good. Overall with nicks and scattered marks from use.
