Only 2 Clarksons are recorded in Stockel; George Clarkson circa 1766 and Joseph Clarkson circa 1715-140. Turn off barrel, boxlock frame with "CLARKSON" on right in ribbon, left with stand of arms. Slabside grips with silver inlaid wire in floral geometrics, wrist with panoply of arms. Barrel has a piece of paper that reads "No 64", probably a previous collection tag. CONDITION: NRA Good. Cock with weld repair at neck, some softness to engraving.
