No visible maker but is a Deane style five shot double action .44 bore, octagon barrel, lightly engraved on frame, guard and pommel, spurless exposed hammer, two piece walnut grips decorated in diamond pattern with small decorative brads. Metal is in the white having toned with some age spotting. Cylinder has British proofs on each chamber. Comes with blue lined wood case that has an unmarked bullet mold, excellent small copper flask, cap tin, with an ebony turn screw & rod. CONDITION. Excellent. Metal dulled but clean. Grips are excellent. Trigger advances the cylinder and hammer does position but does not indicate engagement. Bore is strong but frosted.
