Produced in 1862, this second year of production. Features a single line New York barrel address. "Colt's Patent" marked on the left side of frame. The cylinder is fluted and rebated. The revolver comes cased with accoutrements and an affidavit of family provenance. CONDITION: Barrel with approximately 85% blue remaining. The cylinder retains blue in the flutes with patina on most surfaces. The case color is vibrant on the frame and hammer. The silver plate remains full on the trigger guard and back strap. Mechanically fine, bore with strong, well defined rifling and some oxidation towards muzzle.
