1777 French Charleville smoothbore musket. Lock marked "Charleville" in script with a star above a capital letter "D" behind the flash pan. Three iron barrel bands with iron hardware on walnut stock with typical dish out cheek. Comes with "Harvey" marked triangular socket bayonet. CONDITION: Overall aged patina with handling marks and dings. Lock does not hold but gun appears to be original flint. Wood has handling marks with original aged finish. Dark bore with some small mechanical issues. Nice example of a Revolutionary period weapon. DLM
